REVIEW: Maybelline Define A Brow Pencil in Soft Black

Maybelline New York Define-A-Brow Eye Pencil Review

Guest Post By: Raunak

I have never tried any brow pencil apart from the very basic lakme eye brow pencil but our youtube gurus are always so much into grooming and filling their brows with their Anatasia Brow kits, Mac Pencils and what not.
High Time I got one for myself.
I have normal thick Indian brows Like most of us. but they are little scarce in the begining. We Indian girls are usually blessed with thick brows, they just need to be defined periodically

Define a brow is an excellent brow pencil. Even this soft black colour gives me the most natural filling as you can see in the picture. I at first thought that the colour brown would give m
e a natural coverage but then I ended up purchasing soft black.
Define-a-Brow has an advantage, as it's retractable (no sharpening) and the product has a small tip (for precise shaping of the brows). The texture is a bit crayon-like, which is great beca
use it's stiff enough where it's not going to apply a heavy/harsh amount of product, it will keep it's shape and won't break off as easily.

Claims Made By Maybelline
. Micro-mechanical pencil delivers precise application for evenly defined brows
. Smear-proof formula wears all day
. Convenient all-in-one tool includes a comb to seamlessly blend color for a natural look

For Best Results
Step 1: Fill-in brows with Define-A-Brow\256 Eyebrow Pencil using thin, hair-like strokes.
Step 2: Blend color and groom brows with comb.

Price  of Maybelline Define A Brow Pencil

I purchased it for: 290 Rupees.

You may be able to see in the Pictures I have attached that this pencil does fill in my brows and keep the colour very little. It is not Harsh or streaky.
I am no Pro at the eyes, anyone can easily apply this pencil and keep it as a must have in their vanity.

Currently there are four shades available on the web site. They had six prior. There is light blonde, light brown, Medium Brown and Dark Blonde.
The brown pencil come with a very tiny little brow comb on the other end which can be used even after the Pencil gets over.
The best part is the tiniest tip for precision and Retractable Pencil.

Why Maybelline New York Define-A-Brow Eye Pencil is Good:

1) The best part is this pencil covers up the gaps in my brows and does not look Chalky.
2) This has been compared to the MAC eyebrows pencils by few of the beauty gurus.
3) Soft brown is such a must have shade for out Indian brows. You may go to light brown if need be. Maybelline used to makes 6 shades in this much loved product a while ago, now it is oddly down to
4. But I think there still are lots of options available.
5) Stays on for 5 hours plus in summer. Does not smudge. Tested :)
6) The green packaging is super cute to have in my bag.
7) No sharpening.

Why Maybelline New York Define-A-Brow Eye Pencil is bad:

1) A Lovely and much sought after brand like mayebelline needs to stop testing on animals. Especially with their growing popularity in India.
2) Avaialbilty of this Eye Brow Pencil.

Overall Rating:
8 on 10 This one:)

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :) Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;) Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal

Good Health: My Slimming Diet and Exercise Regimen

I was planning on starting this post with a quote on health and all that jazz but then I realized you are here reading this post not cause you want to see my writing style but are here cause you actually want to read the contents :) So I will start without much intro but a little disclaimer before that ;) Disclaimer I am not a doctor or a nutritionist or even a dietitian. I have found out from experience what works for me and I am sharing it with you guys. You are to find out what is right for you and make your own permutations and combination to this regimen of mine depending on your target weight, your lifestyle and all :) Before I start there are a couple of points we need to keep in mind: 1. In order to lose weight one needs to burn more calories than you take in. 2. The human body takes about only 1200 calories to do the routine functions of respiration, digestion etc. 3. Just because you are not taking 3 full meals a day does not mean that you are starving yourself or ar

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener  Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work... Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!
