90's Grunge Inspired Black SMokey Eyes

An Ellis Faas Makeup Look

Makeup is a wonderful thing. It helps you weave magic every time you are looking to do something new. It helps you explore your inner creativity, brings out your inner diva and helps you discover your niche... Makeup truly is magical and without it, I know I would be incomplete...

If you've been following the last few posts on ISLM, you'd have noticed the plethora of makeup looks I have been belting out one after another... Not that all of them deserve a mention and not that all of them needed a special skill or technique but it really made me realise that there are a few essential techniques that one needs to master like blending, highlighting in the inner corners, grooming your eyebrows and ofcourse being able to foresee color combinations :)

90's Grunge Inspired Black SMokey Eyes

My today's look has been inspired by the 90's Grunge Look with an intense black smokey eye, smudged and not neat, pale lips and unfixed hair... Do note that I have not done a Grunge look here but just used some elements from it and made my own version...

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :) Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;) Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal

Just because you are not taking 3 full meals a day does not mean that you are starving yourself or ar

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener  Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work... Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!
