REVIEW: Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner

Guest Post By: Nandini

First of all, sorry for being MIA. I had tests and a whole lot of assignments. Also, I had to redraft the whole of this review because between having written the review and clicking all the pictures,my thoughts about this eyeliner really changed.
Okay, enough of my ranting.. Moving on.

Now who has shaky hands? *raises hand* Oily lids? *raises both hands* ;)
If you have oily lids, you will know that nothing apart from liquid eyeliner will stay on your lids. No,not even gel eyeliner. :(
And having shaky hands, is another disadvantage because to be able to master the technique of applying liquid liner, you need a steady hand. Unfortunately, I learnt both these facts quite late. After I had almost mastered the art of applying pencil eyeliner. *bangs head*

Coming to the point, this product is a blessing in a small bottle. It's black. It's smudge proof. It's inexpensive. What more does a girl want? ;)
It's great for tightlining. I mean,if a novice like me with shaky hands can do it, I bet those of you who've been using eyeliner for over a decade can do it REALLY well.
Like it's other counterparts, the eyeliner is water resistant and not waterproof. Also, I've noticed that it doesn't flake off when you touch your eyes accidentally or rub them.
It takes about 20 seconds to dry and once it's set, it's set forever. Like seriously. I wore this at 6pm for a mehendi function and when I came back since I had mehendi on both hands, I slept with my makeup on. Lazy me! When I woke up in the morning, I can still see eyeliner on my upper lashline. WOW! That speaks volumes about the staying power, doesn't it? :P

So summing up,

Price Of Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner:

It costs INR 250/-

Pros:
1. Inexpensive at Rs.225 for 3gms
2. Glossy finish
3. You can easily draw thin lines with it
4. Mind blowing staying power
5. Easily available

Cons:
1. Water resistant and not waterproof (not a con for me frankly, easier to remove :P)

Do I recommend this? Hell yes! It's a great product at a great price. So girls, go and get your liquid eyeliners right away! :)

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :) Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;) Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal

Good Health: My Slimming Diet and Exercise Regimen

I was planning on starting this post with a quote on health and all that jazz but then I realized you are here reading this post not cause you want to see my writing style but are here cause you actually want to read the contents :) So I will start without much intro but a little disclaimer before that ;) Disclaimer I am not a doctor or a nutritionist or even a dietitian. I have found out from experience what works for me and I am sharing it with you guys. You are to find out what is right for you and make your own permutations and combination to this regimen of mine depending on your target weight, your lifestyle and all :) Before I start there are a couple of points we need to keep in mind: 1. In order to lose weight one needs to burn more calories than you take in. 2. The human body takes about only 1200 calories to do the routine functions of respiration, digestion etc. 3. Just because you are not taking 3 full meals a day does not mean that you are starving yourself or ar

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener  Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work... Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!
