Take Your Pick!

If you follow me on Twitter and Facebook, you'll know that every once in a while I keep cribbing about how I am lagging behind in reviewing products. And then the weekend arrives and I add more to the list! Hence I have decided that I shall list out products that I plan on reviewing in the immediate future and let you all know about it. This shall serve the following two purposes:
  1. I will be accountable to you all
  2. You can pick and choose, which product you want me to review before the others...
So should we get started? I shall be describing each product in a line or two, so that you know what to look forward to :) Then you all can mention in the comments section the products you want me to review first :)

1. MAC Face & Body Foundation  This product requires no introduction. Everyone is using it, raving about it and recommending it. I shall leave it to that :)

2. MAC Eye Shadow in Patina
The MAC SA told me that JLo's MUA uses this on her very often. That was enough to have me sold on it!

3. MAC Eye Shadow in Retrospeck
I bought it on a whim and I haven't regretted it since! A must have for all Indian beauties!

4. MAC Eye Shadow in Shadowy Lady
Nope! It doesn't feature on anyone's must have list and it isn't even been reviewed on any Indian beauty blog. It's a rare gem and precious too!

5. The Body Shop Pencil Concealer
Have read mixed reviews about it and well I bought it before reading any reviews. ha ha wait for the review to know if I regret buying it or not :)

Bought it last weekend and have been using it daily ever since. Why? Wait for the review!

7. The Body Shop Grapeseed Glossing Serum
Have been using it since the past 7 months now and not one day goes without it! It is so awesome!

8. Maybelline BB Stick

9. Maybelline Super Stay 14 hour Lipstick In Eternal Rose  Reviewed Here
Another comparatively new launch form Maybelline and it has already taken the beauty blog-o-sphere by storm!

10. Maybelline Colorama Nail Enamel In Absinto

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

10 Best Loose Powders Available in India

10 Best Loose Powders Available in IndiaISLM Writer: Sanchita

Summer is going to knock on the door soon and we, who are blessed (or cursed) with oily skin, will crawl back to our powders and/or matte foundations to keep the skin oil-free as far as possible. Being oily skinned, I have always found my way back to loose powders even though their packaging is slightly messy. This is because loose or translucent powders are more finely milled than the compact versions and hence gives you an even look rather than a made-up cakey one. Compact has the tendency to look rough under eyes or around the mouth whereas loose powders work excellently. No wonder, oily skin stays matte for longer duration than it does with the compact ones. Mostly, it gives sheer to buildable coverage and sits on the skin like a natural finish look.
