REVIEW: Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo In Tough As Taupe

Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Tough As Taupe

 Tough As Taupe! Really?

Some phrases just get coined and then stick around forever... Not that they make any sense but just cause they sound "together", we accept it and make it a part of a language... How else would you explain the likes of Deaf as a Doorknob, Dumb as a Dodo and Happy as a Lark... Maybelline seems to have taken idioms such as these too seriously and came up with a shade called Tough as Taupe.

The moment it was rumored that Maybelline's Color Tattoo range was finally coming to India, I was looking forward to this particular shade for its obvious characteristic of being able to create a smokey look around it... But alas! This particular shade from Maybelline's Color Tattoo range wasn't launched in India and even though I got myself Fierce & Tangy, Audacious Asphalt and Bad to Bronze, I was still left un-satiated! Finally, my best friend got it for me from the US and I then breathed a sigh of relief. Well, honestly, it wasn't just a sigh, it was more of a jumping with delight and running around in circles kind of a scene :P

I wont really review the product all over again..

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.
