REVIEW: Colorbar I-Glide Pencil In Jaded

Colorbar I-Glide Pencil In Jaded

Review Of Colorbar I-Glide Pencil In Jaded

Colorbar I-Glide pencils need no introduction and in all honesty no review as well. They have been on the scene since times immemorial (drama queen alert #1) and have been loved and hated by beauty bloggers with the same enthusiasm... We loved them when they first appeared at the counters and we just couldn't stop gushing at how long stay they were. But then came Faces Long Wear Pencils, that were cheaper and suited oily lids better! Sighhhh, the ups and downs in beauty blogging (drama queen alert #2)!

But I have recently gone back to these pencils as a way out when I am in a rush to get to office on time. Yup! I have to really struggle to do that!

So I wont really gush or rave about the pencils but will simply get down to business and post some pictures as well the Oooohhhsss And Aaaahhhsss and well Ouchesss!!!

Price Of The Colorbar I-Glide Pencils:

They cost INR 399/-

Oooohhsss And Aaaahhhsss!!!
1. Pretty long stay.
2. Is a gorgeous shimmery green shade
3. Glides on like a dream and doesn't feel stretchy/
4. Fits regular sharpeners
5. Pretty easily available
6. Waterline safe!
7. Do not cause any issues while removing makeup
8. Is waterproof

1. Starts smudging on oily lids within 4 hours of wear.
2. Sharpening causes a lot of product wastage.

If you do not "suffer" from oily lids (drama queen alert #3), then definitely go for it! If you do have oily lids, still go for it as this shade of green is not quite available in the Faces Long Wear range.

Overall Rating:
8/10 --> Oily Lids
9.5/10 --> Non-Oily Lids

What is your experience with Colorbar I-Glide Pencils.

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

10 Best Loose Powders Available in India

10 Best Loose Powders Available in IndiaISLM Writer: Sanchita

Summer is going to knock on the door soon and we, who are blessed (or cursed) with oily skin, will crawl back to our powders and/or matte foundations to keep the skin oil-free as far as possible. Being oily skinned, I have always found my way back to loose powders even though their packaging is slightly messy. This is because loose or translucent powders are more finely milled than the compact versions and hence gives you an even look rather than a made-up cakey one. Compact has the tendency to look rough under eyes or around the mouth whereas loose powders work excellently. No wonder, oily skin stays matte for longer duration than it does with the compact ones. Mostly, it gives sheer to buildable coverage and sits on the skin like a natural finish look.
