REVIEW: The Nature's Co Cranberry Exfoliating Body Polish For Dry Skin

Nope! This Isn't A Geography Lesson...

You know the time when youa re really excited to try out a product but after the first use you realise it totally wasn't worth it? Well the body polish is somewhat of a dampener that way. When I received the PR sample, I was super excited and was dying to try it out. But the first time was really disappointing! But I did not give hope and prayed that it would work for me the second time... Well I tried it the third and the fourth and even the fifth time and when it failed to work for me even then, I decided to write this review with a really heavy heart :(

In general The Nature Products are pretty good and I quite love their body lotions but this Body polish seems to be on of those products that fail to work for you regardless of the fact that you really want it to... Fragrance wise, its awesome! It doesn't have an overbearing sweet smell, rather it boasts of a natural berry fragrance that is quite refreshing especially in a hot shower after a long day at work.

What did not work for me is that though they specify it to be for Dry Skin, it is extremely drying and just doesn't work for dry skin :( On the flip side this might just prove to be a wonderful product for beauties with Oily or Normal skin. The exfoliating particles that actually look like strawberry/cranberry seeds are not harsh or rough on skin and the polish as such does not cause any reactions or rashes.

If you have oily/normal you might want to give it a shot. Do not be deterred by the dry skin label on it ;)

Ooohhhss And Aaaahhhss!!!
1. It has an extremely "natural" berry fragrance that is both refreshing and yummy :)
2. The exfoliating particles are not harsh or rough on the skin.
3. The product does not cause any reactions or allergies.
4. It would work great for Oily/Normal skin.
5. Easily available at TNC outlets.

1. Irrespective of what the label says, it does not suit dry skin.

It costs INR 345/-

Since I have extremely dry skin and it didn't work for me, I wouldn't repurchase it.

Would I Recommend?
Like I mentioned before, I would recommend it for girls with oily and normal skin. Dry skinned beauties might want to stay away from this.

Overall Rating:
7/10 for Dry Skin
9/10 for Oily Skin

P.S. Product sent by PR for consideration. However, my review is honest and is in no way biased.

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.
