Best Friend Material!
You know how sometimes you want to sport a Red lip but don't know if it'll suit the occasion or the situation? You know the time when you wear a smart Black shirt with grey trousers to office and know that a Red lip would simply look killer but don't know if it'll be office appropriate? It happens to me a lot and I have finally found a solution :)
The answer to our prayers ladies and gentlemen in the innocent looking Red Lip Pencil :) Originally invented to line your lips so to make filling up your lips with a bright shade real simple and effortless, today it is taking the form of a stain... Lip pencils are essentially being used to "fill-in" the lip now to either make it look stained or as a base under your lipstick to increase its longevity...
Hence, I went ahead and picked up this lip liner from The Body Shop in a shade called Rose Red and a gorgeous shade it is :) It has some out of this world pigmentation, is not too soft and hence doesn't result in wastage and it stays on for like ever! The only con is that it is a tad bit drying but if you wear it over a lip balm then you have found a gem :)
One feature that stands out is how the product itself can be long lasting. I have used the pencil 7 times already and well I haven't had to sharpen it yet! Yes you read right! I haven't seen any pencil give sucha performance. EVER!

Would I Recommend?
Yes! If you are a red lip addict and need a practical stain-ish shade that would work appropriate then go for it! And it is not even tight to the pocket :)

Been reading your blog on and off- love the way you choose and review products.I'm a red-lip addict & had been looking for a pinky-red lip-pencil for some time and luckily read this review and went and got it the very next morning. It's such a BEAUTIFUL red! However, the price seems to have been revised- they charged me INR595 for it. Its such a gorgeous shade that I didn't even mind :)
