Celebrity Makeup: Anushka Sharma

Bindi... Jhumka... Smokey Eyes! All In Favor, Say Aye!

Nothing nothing and I really mean nothing else excites me more than seeing a Bollywood celeb go all the way through with a black smokey eye! Therefore I have been following Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor with all I have cause they have been belting out some real smokey beauties where their makeup is concerned! And now joining the bandwagon is Anushka Sharma... Ah! another celeb to follow and drool over! I am so not complaining!

In Anushka's latest look, she has on an intense black smokey eye that wings out (I have gotta learn to do that!) giving her an ethereal as well as striking at the same time. Falsies and the huge temple jewellery jhumkas add the required spunk while the bindi and the pinkish-nude lippy let the eyes do all the talking.

I totally love her look here :)

How about you?

    1. honestly Nafisa, I think only big eyes can rock this kind of smokey eyes :) a tip when doing smokey eyes for large eyes is to taper the eye shadow into a wing... it makes the eyes look long then :)

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :) Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;) Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal

Good Health: My Slimming Diet and Exercise Regimen

I was planning on starting this post with a quote on health and all that jazz but then I realized you are here reading this post not cause you want to see my writing style but are here cause you actually want to read the contents :) So I will start without much intro but a little disclaimer before that ;) Disclaimer I am not a doctor or a nutritionist or even a dietitian. I have found out from experience what works for me and I am sharing it with you guys. You are to find out what is right for you and make your own permutations and combination to this regimen of mine depending on your target weight, your lifestyle and all :) Before I start there are a couple of points we need to keep in mind: 1. In order to lose weight one needs to burn more calories than you take in. 2. The human body takes about only 1200 calories to do the routine functions of respiration, digestion etc. 3. Just because you are not taking 3 full meals a day does not mean that you are starving yourself or ar

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener  Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work... Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!
