REVIEW: Parchute Advansed Deep Nourish Body Lotion For Extra Dry Skin

Nothing makes me happier than trying out new and all kinds of body lotions... I am Suma/Samyukta Sharma and I am a body lotion-holic :P You will not find a bigger connoisseur of  these necessities than your truly and that somehow makes me a harsh critic too LOL... Modest am I not ;)

So anyways, if you guys remember last year, sometime around May I had a review on Parachute Advansed Body Lotions in three variants, Summer Fresh, Intensive Care and All Seasons here and here. This time on, keeping in mind the Winter season (and what a winter it is proving to be), Parachute Advansed has come up with two more variants, Deep Nourish for Extra Dry Skin and Soft Touch for Dry Skin. Oh Boy! Was I excited to receive their samples or what! :D

What The Brand Claims
The lotion is loaded with the goodness of coconut milk, the all-natural way to make skin feel soft and smooth this winter. After all, everybody loves winters for providing an escape from the scorching summer months and unmanageable sultry days. But then winter does come with its share of troubles. Especially for the skin --- the patches of dryness on the upper arms or back, the parched feeling of the palms, feet and ear-lobes and in severe cases, the flaky dry skin on the forehead.

This skin menace can be taken care of effectively with the use of Parachute Advanced Body Lotion. It’s 100% natural moisturizers formulation not just seeps deep into the skin, but also replenishes the skin’s natural oils – to bring back the natural charm and glow of the skin!

My Experience

I have been using the Deep Nourish variant for extra dry skin since a  month now and it is hands down my favorite body lotion till now. Yes I like it better than my Garnier Body Cocoon as well (never though I'd say that ever!)... There are these four things that I really like about the product that totally blow me away... One is the beautiful, soft and feminine fragrance that lingers on, second is the way it so smoothly glides over my skin and keeps it feeling all soft and supple, third that it is actually awesome for my moisture parched skin and finally cause it comes with a pump dispenser cap and hence I have placed the bottle on my dresser and every time I pass my dresser, I take a pump of some product and keep applying it all over my arms :)

Images of the Product:

Ooooohhhss And Aaaahhhhsss!!!
1. Love the way it glides so smoothly over my soft.
2. Leaves my skin feel soft, supple and all glowy

3. It has an extremely comforting and a beautifully soft fragrance that lingers on for a really long time.

4. It is great for dry skin during the winters.
5. It gets absorbed easily and doesn't leave an oily feeling. But moisturizes to the tee.
6. It is extremely easy on the pocket.
7. Easily available at all super markets and general stores.
8. Comes with a convenient pump dispenser cap that makes life so much easier ;)

Ouches!!!
1. Only that it is a BIG bottle and isn't really travel friendly, but then I am really nit-picking ;)

Price:
It costs INR 160/- for 400 ml

Repurchase?
Definitely! You bet your life I'll purchase another bottle once this one gets over!

Would I Recommend?
For dry skin beauties for sure! For oily skin divas, not really ;)

Overall Rating:
10/10

P.S. Product sent by PR for consideration. However, my review is honest and is in no way biased.

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!

REVIEW: MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In NC42

Review of MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In Shade NC42

Guest Post By: Rmyah

There are days when I just cannot help look at myself through any reflective surface that I can. Be it mirrors, glass doors, rear view mirrors, the back of a spoon and even a pond. And then there are days when I wished everyone was blind, every mirror shattered, the serene water turbulent, anything to avoid me seeing my face. One such day when my skin was going through a blearrrgh phase I decided to put my face on the web and show you how I deal with it. My savior is the MAC studio fix fluid foundation which has been my HG foundation for about three months now.
