2012 saw me blogging full fledged... I did loads and loads of reviews and makeup looks... I did a whopping 316 posts in 2012 as compared to a measly 105 in 2011 :)
2012 also saw me mature as a blogger... My makeup matured, my hand became more steady and my ideas seemed to get a sophisticated edge :)
2012 also saw me try a host of new products. It saw me hoard a lot of TBS products. It saw me look at product reviews in a new light...
2012 also saw me make a lot of new friends in the blogosphere and it also saw me get my share of hate comments... LOL..
In all 2012 has been a year of a lot of fun and fulfillment :)
Here I am listing out my most favorite products of 2012. Do note that the products listed here are not necessarily 2012 launches but are products that I bought and used for the time in 2012...
1. MAC Paint Pot in Genuine Treasure
Its a gorgeous product and I can very safely say that it is the best paint pot I have ever seen or used :) It seems to have these chunky glitter particles but when you actually touch it and feel it, the paint pot is really soft and smooth and nope you cannot feel the "chunkiness" :) Its GORGEOUS! :D
REVIEW: Not reviewed yet. But done an LOTD post featuring it...

2. Colorbar Powder Blush in Floral Fucsia
Floral Fuscia though looks quite muted like its older cousins Plum Brown and Just Earth, but on the cheeks it truly imparts a rosy blush that would suit especially warmer skintones :) While applying these blushes you will also notice that Colorbar has changed the texture as well and these are much lighter and powdery than their older cousins :)

3. MAC Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo
MAC Ruby Woo is no ordinary Red lipstick. It is a cult Red Lipstick and in order to honor the "Retro Matte" part of it, I had to a special look... and well what better than an all American Pin-Up girl look ;)
REVIEW: Not reviewed yet. But done an LOTD post featuring it...

4. MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara
The MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash mascara comes in a rubber-ized no-fuss tube, which is a simple long pipe like tube with an equally long and thin brush. The mascara is very true to its name and coats each and every lash generously making it look more volumized, lengthened and BLACK in a Zooooooommm :D
REVIEW: http://isimplylovemakeup.blogspot.com/2012/05/review-mac-zoom-fast-black-lash-mascara.html
5. The Body Shop Banana Shampoo & Conditioner
The Banana shampoo and conditioner look similar with a slight difference in their consistencies. They both look like freshly made banana shake and smell like a banana flavored bubblegum. There is just no way that you will not like the fragrance. Its just so glorious.
REVIEW: http://isimplylovemakeup.blogspot.com/2012/08/review-body-shop-banana-shampoo-and.html
6. Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo in Fierce & Tangy
Fierce & Tangy is a light Orange shade with minute (please DO NOT read it as "mi-nut" but DO read it as "my-new-t" :P) golden specs that blend with the Orange so well that it isn't really first noticeable but comes to life when you are taking pics with flash ;) And I love this effect! It instantly brightens my eye area :D
REVIEW: http://isimplylovemakeup.blogspot.com/2012/10/review-lotd-maybelline-eye-studio-color.html
7. The Body Shop All-In-One BB Cream
The BB Cream contains some really microscopic granules that start bursting and create an orangish cast for the first 2 seconds after application... Fret not, blend it well and voila! you are left with something of a beautiful glow on your face that looks like second skin :)
REVIEW: http://isimplylovemakeup.blogspot.com/2012/11/review-body-shop-all-in-one-bb-cream.html
8. The Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel
It smells divine! It has a warm Orangey fragrance (obviously), which instead of being OTT is actually so refreshing and so yummy that all you want to do is pray that the running hot water in your bath just continues till eternity...
REVIEW: http://isimplylovemakeup.blogspot.com/2012/12/review-body-shop-satsuma-shower-gel.html
9. MAC Eye Shadow in Honesty
It looks like a shimmery golden eye shadow on the pan but when you actually apply it, it looks sheer, perfectly blending on your skin leaving behind a trail of golden glitter. It is the perfect choice when you want to opt for RED LIPS.
REVIEW: http://isimplylovemakeup.blogspot.com/2012/12/review-mac-eye-shadow-in-honesty.html
10. Colorbar True Gloss in Vintage Rose
This is one shade that flatters all skin tones, it'll be your best buddy
irrespective of your complexion ;) The pros that really set it apart
from other glosses is that it is extremely pigmented, very opaque, no
glitter or frost and seriously stays on for like ever! I apply it in the
morning and it is with me till the end of day... after about 4-5 hours
it leaves a gorgeously bright stain behind that looks gorgeous as well.
REVIEW: http://isimplylovemakeup.blogspot.com/2012/12/review-lotd-colorbar-true-gloss-in.html
11. The Body Shop Perfume Oil in Indian Night Jasmine
The perfume oil as such is in a concentrated oil form that can be applied on your pulse points... Unlike sprays and mists, the perfume oil takes time to warm up and then gradually starts emanating it's beautiful fragrance that surrounds the wearer and creates an aura of mystery and exoticism.
REVIEW: http://isimplylovemakeup.blogspot.com/2012/12/review-body-shop-perfume-oil-in-indian.html
12. Faces Matte Nail Polish in Champagne Shower
Faces Canada has introduced a line of matte nail polishes that are both gorgeous and tempting :D Though they are priced at INR 230/- each, which I find really steep for a nail polish, I still intend getting a couple of more shades...
