REVIEW: The Nature's Co Mixed Berry Body Lotion

It is always chocolate for me with the exception of Mint Milk Chocolate Chip at Baskin Robbins... I adore chocolate and my dad who is a bigger fan of ice cream loves berries... Raspberries, blueberries, cranberries... You name it... Never understood his fascination for berries until now...

A couple of weeks back The Nature's Co (TNC from here on) sent me a pretty little Christmas hamper with their Berry range of products... The berries range is basically a part of their Foressence range that they claim is inspired by enchanted forests and all the goodness it contains. The products from this range are "Brimming with colourful, exotic ingredients, strong, captivating fragrances and the goodness and variety that only a natural forest can provide".

Being a true blue body butter and body lotion junkie I immediately pounced on the Mixed Berry Body Lotion and have been using it since. The first thing I noticed about the lotion was that it wasn't greasy! It immediately got absorbed by my skin, leaving no oiliness behind but giving me a feeling of moisturised bliss :) In all fairness, I need to layer the lotion twice. Once was not enough for my winter parched dry skin. But two layers were enough to see me through the whole day.

The second thing that I immediately noticed was the fragrance. It does not have a strong artificial smell, rather it smelled all too natural something that I wasn't used to. Am  not sure how I can describe the fragrance but it was something like when you eat a cherry and the berrilicious flavor that the seed and pips have in them is very close to how the body lotion smells... I could describe it as Berry Woody if that makes any sense to you...

The only con I found with the product was the shape of the bottle and the cap. The bottle is a fat cuboid and hence when you squeeze the product out, the top part of the bottle under the flip cap gets messy... What I am trying to say here is that to take a bit of product out you need to complete turn the bottle over, else if you just tilt it at an angle the product would slide off the lid and then land on your palm.

In all I liked the product and I am looking forward to try the Guava Body Lotion as well :)

Images of the Product

Oooohhhss And Aaaaahhhsss!!!
1. Does not have an artificial berry smell.
2. It extremely moisturising.
3. Get absorbed really fast and easily.
4. Peta approved and cruelty free product.
5. Can be bought from the store as well as online.
6. Leaves my skin really smooth and soft.
7. It is rich in Vitamin C and AHA that help my skin remain buff.

Ouches!!!
1. Like I said earlier the shape and size of the bottle is a bit difficult to work with.
2. It is priced a bit on the higher side.

Price:
It costs INR 525/- for 250 ml.
Please note that an offer of a free Berry Soap with a purchase of this lotion is on at the moment.

Repurchase?
I think I am intrigued by this range and shall soon be trying out the Guava Body Lotion ;)

Would I Recommend:
I certainly would. It is a moisturising, fast absorbing body lotion with a very natural berrilicious fragrance. It is cruelty free, vegan and an eco-friendly product.

Overall Rating:
8.5/10

P.S. Product sent by PR for consideration. However, my review is honest and is in no way biased.

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

REVIEW: MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In NC42

Review of MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In Shade NC42

Guest Post By: Rmyah

There are days when I just cannot help look at myself through any reflective surface that I can. Be it mirrors, glass doors, rear view mirrors, the back of a spoon and even a pond. And then there are days when I wished everyone was blind, every mirror shattered, the serene water turbulent, anything to avoid me seeing my face. One such day when my skin was going through a blearrrgh phase I decided to put my face on the web and show you how I deal with it. My savior is the MAC studio fix fluid foundation which has been my HG foundation for about three months now.

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!
