REVIEW: MAC Eye Shadow in Honesty...

Honesty is a virtue... As a moral character... And a GEM on your vanity :) That's exactly how I would describe this gorgeous eye shadow... It looks like a shimmery golden eye shadow on the pan but when you actually apply it, it looks sheer, perfectly blending on your skin leaving behind a trail of golden glitter. It is the perfect choice when you want to opt for RED LIPS. It looks great with BERRY LIPS too and it is something that would let you highlight your pout and yet not let the onlooker forget that the eyes is something that actually holds the true mystery :) Oh it's a beautiful eye shadow for sure :)

I stumbled upon it quite by accident actually. You'll notice, it is one of those eye shadows that people don't really talk about and it is almost non-existent on Indian blogs as far as reviews are concerned. I got it when I was in one of my random but compulsive shopping sprees and I was swatching each and every MAC eye shadow that was on display :P

Images of The Product

Ooohhss And Aaaahhhsss!!!
1. It is an understaed eye shadow very apt for pairing with Red or any bold lip color.
2. Merges with one's skintone and leaves a beautiful golden glitter trail :)
3. Quite easily available at all MAC stores.
4. Part of the Permanent Collection (Thank God!)
5. Does not crease.
6. Very easy to remove.
7. Does not cause any allergies or reactions.
8. Extremely versatile... Can be used as an eye shadow as well as a highlighter.

1. Cannot think of any!

It costs INR 720/- for a refill pan. Was 680/- earlier. The single pan costs INR 900/-

Definitely! It is one of my most used eye shadows!

Would I Recommend?
It would suit all Indian skintones and would look wonderful with western as well as Indian wear. It really is a must have eye shadow :)

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…
