REVIEW & LOTD: Colorbar True Gloss in Vintage Rose

You know the time when you are looking for the perfect HOT Pink lipstick and really cannot find the exact shade that you are looking for? When whichever Pink lippy you pick up is either too pale or too shiny or is just not HOT enough, then ladies it is time to turn your head towards our very own Colorbar ;) I basically remembered to do a review of this particular product when one of my friends' Shamaila, asked me for a dupe for MAC Impassioned... No no this particular shade isn't a dupe for it, it's cousin Radiant Pink is closer but Vintage Rose is one shade that I recommend everyone whoever is looking for a Gorgeously HOT Pink shade :)
This is one shade that flatters all skin tones, it'll be your best buddy irrespective of your complexion ;) The pros that really set it apart from other glosses is that it is extremely pigmented, very opaque, no glitter or frost and seriously stays on for like ever! I apply it in the morning and it is with me till the end of day... after about 4-5 hours it leaves a gorgeously bright stain behind that looks gorgeous as well.

Images of the Product:

Oooohhhsss And Aaaahhhsss!!!
1. It is extremely well pigmented.
2. Does not have any glitter or shimmer or frost.
3. It stays on forever.
4. It does not dry one's lips or flakes off.
5. It does not bleed.
6. Does not cause any irritation or reactions.
7. Extremely comfortable to the pocket.

I honestly cannot think of any except for maybe the fact that the Silver lettering that says "Colorbar" gets scratched off easily :( But then this really is nit-picking!

It costs INT 495/-

The moment it gets over, which I know it will cause I use it almost everyday, I am gonna go and repurchase it! I might even buy a backup for it ;)

Would I Recommend?
I definitely would! It is a gorgeous shade and though not for the faint hearted but I would still urge you to go for it :)

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

Ooooohss And Aaahhss!! 1. Really really stays on forever. 2. Doesn't smudge on my oily lids even after 8 hours of wear. 3. Friendly to the pocket 4. Faces have become quite easily available now. 5. They do not cause any allergies or reactions. 6. They are waterline safe a…

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…
