REVIEW: Cosmedic SaliQ Active Cleanser

Our skin needs extra care during the winters. Due to the harsh weather and my habit of "pampering" my skin by slathering layers and layers of products, at least my skin requires TLC like never before and Cosmedic does come to the rescue. Like I mentioned in my earlier review of the Cerava Quick Relief Therapy Gel , Cosmedic formulated, tested and approved by a team of dermatologists gives you the skin you want. When they contacted me, I had really not heard of them before but I researched on the internet and after trying their products, I am quite hooked! :)

The SaliQ Active Cleanser basically is a face wash containing Salicylic Acid that is known to break down and exfoliate dead skin cells. It is extremely effective for blocked-pore kind of acne and is also anti-inflammatory i.e. it reduces redness and inflamation due to acne. It is also known to reduce pigmentation and discoloration caused due to acne. In short Salicylic Acid is awesome for anyone who has been struggling with blocked pore acne.

What Cosmedic claims about it's SaliQ Active Cleanser?
Clinically proven oil-free cleanser eliminates acne and excess oil to reveal healthy, clear skin. Our proprietary Sali-Q complex delivers 2% bio-active Salicylic Acid while repairing the skin barrier for optimal anti-acne effect without any irritation.
Hypoallergenic - Non-Comedogenic - Oil-Free - Non-Drying - Skin-Safe pH

What I Liked About The Product
I have really dry skin and when I received the product and it stated that it reduces Oiliness by 96% while preventing breakouts, I wasn't quite sure about how much it would suit me. I expected it to leave me all dry and stretchy, but miracles of miracles it felt really comfortable. In addition to that it made my skin clearer and has made all the tiny little breakouts that I get occasionally completely disappear.

Next, I made my sister who has oily skin use it and she loved it! She loved it that she did not have keep using a tissue the whole day.

I quite like the product and would rate it about 9/10

Texture of the product is like a semi-transparent liquid, with a very "medical" smell. This might not go down with a lot of you I fear. The smell doesn't linger though. The product doesn't really lather and when you use it, you realise that you are not really using a fancy product but actually a product that is recommended by a doctor. Dunno if it's good or bad though ;)

But would I Recommend it? Whole-heartedly. I really like it and if you are really struggling with acne and oiliness, then you must give this a shot.

Price:
It costs INR 190/-

Availability:

P.S. Product sent by PR for consideration. However, my review is honest and is in no way biased.

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!

Review of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Longwear High Impact Stick - Fuchsia Fame
Right now am sitting at the dining table trying to figure out a way to start this post in an "interesting" way... I am obviously struggling... There are these times when your mind just goes blank and you can't think of anything, right? Yeah, I am having one of those moments...

So, I guess I'll directly dive into the review and not mull around. I bought the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick on a whim... I was out window shopping at Shoppers Stop and I just happened to glance at the L'Oreal counter and this cute little stub caught my fancy... The moment I swatched it I knew I had to buy it...

Price of L'Oreal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Stick It costs a whopping INR 999/-

There is nothing much to talk about the packaging. It is exactly what it looks like, a rotating chubby stick with a cap. The plastic doesn't seem cheap and is pretty sturdy. I have d…
