REVIEW: Cosmedic Cerava Quick Relief Therapy Gel

With cold winter winds blowing and dip in the temperature, my skin braces itself for the harsh and dry weather... Inline with my skin's requirements my focus shifts from makeup to skincare every winter and this winter is no different... It is no secret that I have extremely dry skin and come Winter, I slather and almost clog my skin with layers and layers of Olive Oil, Body Butters, Body Lotions and the sundry... Of course my skin fights back to all the "pampering" I shower on it and I keep getting the occasional pimples. Yes! I get pimples in Winters! :/

I have been finding and exploring workarounds to "battle" these bouts of pimples that keep cropping up here and there but had found no permanent solution for it until I received this little wonder from Cosmedic. Now if you are regular with my blog then you'll know a little writeup I had done for them a while ago, but if you are not (Really? You break my heart!), then this is a little refresher link for you :)

Cosmedic people sent me this Cerava Quick Relief Therapy gel and this is what they claim about it...
Breakthrough instant relief formula cools, calms and heals to rapidly reduce itching, discomfort, irritation and rashes within minutes. With Ceramide-6, our proprietary formula also replenishes the skin barrier to prevent further irritations from occurring.

Free of Sulphates, Parabens, Alcohol, Lanolin, Nickel, Fragrance and artificial Color. Hypoallergenic & Non-Comedogenic!

Will you even look at the statement just above! Whoa! Can you resist such a product? Me neither! And I fell hook line and sinker for it!

Now, I haven't really had any allergies or irritations recently so I needed something "inflicted" upon me to test this baby out! I immediately got a brainwave and tried it out on these two "pimple trailers" I had at the corner of my nose :P Yup I get a trailer from the pimples coming up, the area becomes sensitive and a little painful... So I apply the quick relief therapy gel on the affected area before I go to bed and wonders of all wonders by morning the upcoming pimple had disappeared from the face of the Earth (Err my face!). I was swept-off my feet...

I then tried another little experiment... I applied it on a mosquito bite... The things I tell ya a girl has to do when she doesn't have a rash :P It immediately reduced the swelling and the itching almost disappeared... I was sold. Of course the review would have been perfect if I did have a rash to combat but I shall sure update the post if it ever comes through in the future :)

When you apply it, it feels really cool and has a lingering tingling feeling... But nothing alarming :) I kinda enjoy the sensation actually...

Price:
It costs INR 210/-

Ouches!
1. Just that you cannot get it over the counter. You've gotto buy it online from here...

So you game to try it out? :)

P.S. Product sent by PR for consideration. However, my review is honest and is in no way biased.

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

REVIEW: MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In NC42

Review of MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In Shade NC42

Guest Post By: Rmyah

There are days when I just cannot help look at myself through any reflective surface that I can. Be it mirrors, glass doors, rear view mirrors, the back of a spoon and even a pond. And then there are days when I wished everyone was blind, every mirror shattered, the serene water turbulent, anything to avoid me seeing my face. One such day when my skin was going through a blearrrgh phase I decided to put my face on the web and show you how I deal with it. My savior is the MAC studio fix fluid foundation which has been my HG foundation for about three months now.

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!
