Giveaway...

As promised I am here with my giveaway ladies and if you ask me as to why am I doing this giveaway then I could give you vague answers like "It was my birthday three days ago" or "My blog is a year old" or "I have crossed 100 followers mark" etc... But the truth is that I am doing this giveaway because I love you guys (seriously!) and I am extremely thankful to all of you for supporting my blog and helping me improve in makeup along the way :) As I had told you guys earlier, I have rounded up a list of my favorite or go-to products that I would love for you to have. I have reviewed most of these products and those that I haven't reviewed as yet will be reviewed soon :) Do note that the giveaway mainly consists of my favorite products from my favorite brands that include Colorabr, Faces, Maybelline and Oriflame :) PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Here's a detailed list of products that are a part of the giveaway and yes the rules to participate in t…

EOTD & TUTORIAL: Yellow Brown Smoky Eyes Look

I don't know if it happens to you guys but it sure does to me. What? LOL... The time when I get used to a particular thing and I just cannot let go of it :) Well yes it happens to the best of us but I guess it happens to me a tad bit more than most of you can even imagine! Why does this happen to me I cannot fathom but then yes you will now say that I am blabbering away to glory :P ha ha! So before I get carried away a bit more, let me tell you guys that what I am talking about is the fact that I get stuck not only to particular products but also to specific EOTDs and LOTDs... Yes! I am a habitual EOTD repeater in real life! Ha! There I said it! :D So anyways, today I am posting a tutorial on the summery smoky look that I am nowadays sporting with anything and everything :) It's a very pretty and versatile (you bet!) EOTD using golden yellow and brown and well it just makes my eyes look so bright and full of life :) So here goes... But first here's a sneak pea…

REVIEW & LOTD: Colorbar Blush in Plum Brown

Faces and Colorbar are my favorite brands off late and hence it becomes my "duty" to try out most of their products and review them for you guys.. See how much I love you people :) LOL... My latest obsession and favorite is the Colorbar Blush in Plum Brown and if I need to describe it in one word I would say "HG material". Ok that's two! I have honestly been pretty wary of blushes especially since they need a lot of practice to master and well I just don't like the idea of being the clown of the party :D But out of the lot of 6 blushes that I own I must say that this is my favorite powder blush and NYX's Golden is my favorite creme blush. Yup I'll be reviewing that soon too :) So anyways coming back to the subject of today's review, let me put it in a sentence that this blush is definitely my HG blush and I would be lying if I dont accede to the fact that this is the only powder blush that I use nowadays :D Colorbar has yet again o…

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Cosmetics Kajal

You know the feeling when you go back to something really basic, something that you started out with but have not used since a long time? The exhileration, the feeling of deja vu, the nostalgia? That's exctly how I felt when I got myself a kajal two days ago :) Yes I, who swore by gel liners and MAC pencils went and got myself a typical Kajal :) And trust me my joy knows no bounds :) I had been reading such rave reviews about this particular kajal that when I walked into the Faces Store at Phoenix Mall, all I could think about was getting myself a Faces Cosmetics' Kajal :) Yes of course, even though there are loads of reviews in the beauty blogosphere raving about the amazing qualities of the Faces Kajal, I shall be be reviewing it too cause I plan to make it a part of my giveaway and want you guys to know what a wonderful product this is :) This is an intensely black kajal in a typical kajal container something that resembles kajals by Lotus and Shahnaz Hussain.…

REVIEW & LOTD: MAC Lustre Lipstick in Touch

They say your first is always special.. Now is it? Your first job? Your fist car? Your first love? Your first diamond? Your first lipstick? Yeah your first is always special and come what may but you do tend to be a tad bit partial towards your first :) ha ha. Today I plan to review my very first MAC lipstick and I promise to be fair and impartial :) My first MAC lipstick was MAC Touch from the lustre finish range and well it is my favorite till date :) It is my go to lipstick when I am in doubt and well it being a "safe" color does help! :D MAC Touch is a very pretty brownish nude and it is one of those shades that suits almost all skintones :) Just perfect! Also, as it has a lustre finish, it tends to be on the sheer side and looks very watery-glossy which I love :) So much so that it features on temptalia's top 7 must have brown lipsticks from MAC :) My only gripe is that they don't stay on for long at all :( The signature choco-vanilla flavor of all MA…

Makeup Ideas for my Art Attack Necklace

You know how it is with artists don't you? They need a muse, an inspiration for propelling their work and well not that I am any artist or anything but I still feel the need to do my next EOTD inspired by this pretty work of art that I bought online :) Well yeah I have been bitten by the online retail bug too so sue me! :P

I am not sure of the site but I got myself this beauty off Art Attack's FB page linking here. Yup! go people check it out :)

So anyways... The colors in the necklace is soooo vibrant that I couldn't help but wonder if this necklace could inspire me to some look that is colorful and cheerful as it is and so here is where you guys can help out... I was planning on a silver purple EOTD with say Red/Orange lips...

You guys have any better ideas or suggestions? Lemme know :D

REVIEW & LOTD: Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipstick in Smoky Rose

I have always been told and well I have also always read everywhere that matte lipsticks are not for thin lips and I have always followed this rule until maybe recently. Why have I stopped following this rule? No! Not because my lips have become plump, they are still petite (yes i prefer petite to thin ;)), but because I discovered the wonderful world of Colorbar Velvet Matte Lipsticks and also a fool proof way to apply matte lippies on thin lips :) So much so that now Colorbar Velvet Matte is my favorite range of lipsticks. Well yes I am yet to try out MAC Matte lippies and so of course my fav can change anytime ;) Another reason why I have started preferring matte lipsticks is because they are long stay lippies and the Colorbar ones really stay for very long on my lips :) They easily stay from 10 to 10 with two meals, two apples and numerous cups of coffee in between. They do start fading out but a stain or tint is still visible at the end of the day :) My newest purc…

GLIMPSE & NOTD: Colorbar Nail Lacquer in Extrovert

There is nothing more cheery than bright hued nails and well what better way to celebrate the start of a weekend with some pretty and colorful nail lacquers :)
I am officially in love with Colorbar and simply adore their range of nail lacquers. This time I have gotten myself a shade called EXTROVERT, which is a very pretty plum-burgundy shade.

So which is your favorite shade in nail polishes?

Giveaway Heads-up!!

I have never ever won a giveaway... Well yes a lot of you may say that neither have we and then again many of you would actually smirk and say "it isn't that difficult you know!"... LOL! But the fact remains that I really haven't ever won any giveaway :D Why am I talking about giveaways today? Well it's because I am gonna be hosting one soon :) Yay! Now it sure is an open secret that generally giveaways are hosted in order to increase traffic to one's blog and mostly for promoting ones blog and well yes that is one main reason for me to host one too, but it isn't the only reason :) I want to host a giveaway also because I want to thank all of my loyal readers who have been with me and my blog with or without a giveaway :) Yes my rules for the giveaway will include a special edge for my followers and email subscribers :) Also, because you guys have been so supportive of me, I would like to giveaway products that I personally use or have revie…

REVIEW & LOTD: Too Faced Glamour To Go 2 Pocket Palette

Hello ladies after soo long :) I know I have been absconding since quite sometime now but then would you really want to listen to my excuses? Seriously? No? hahaha thought as much ;)
Today, I am reviewing this really cute and a very handy palette that I have been able to get my hands on and its called "Glamour To Go 2 by Too Faced". This is the first time I am reviewing or even using for that matter a Too Faced product and my excitement really has no bounds :) You see Too Faced isn't available in India and well ordering online and paying exorbitant shipping costs isn't really my thing ;) So when my colleague's husband was going to Paris and he very kindly offered to go to Sephora for me, I just jumped at the offer :D I got myself this palette and well here's the review... Btw this is for all Marathi readers, do checkout my colleague's blog here
This palette caught my fancy on the French Sephora website cause well first off it was a palette (duh!), second…
