Post by: Kannu

Ladies and gentlemen... Please put your hands together for our first guest post and also an entry post for the giveaway :)
Btw, have you guys entered the giveaway as yet? No? Really? Why? LOL... You could check out the giveaway here :)
So anyways coming back to our guest blogger, let me introduce you all to Kannu Mankatala Wadhwa. She is from dil waalon ki dilli (Delhi) and will be reviewing this professional range of makeup from Bharat and Dorris :)

Applying eyeliner was always a very difficult exercise for me until I started using gel liners.
Gel liners are very convenient to use and have a long lasting effect.
I went to Pune last week where I discovered this make up brand called “Bharat & Dorris”.
Well to be honest I had never heard about this brand before or seen it anywhere in Delhi & NCR.
The B&D store was quite huge and attractive so unlike any other girl I got tempted to visit the store.
So this was my first visit to a B&D store and I must say I am very impressed !!!!
B&D offers a wide range of gel liners , the range consists of colors like silver, golden , red, purple, green, blue, brown ,hot pink and many more !!!!
I bought two cream liners, though deciding the colors was a very tough decision you see but then settled with brown & green for the time being. Have already asked my co-sister to get me more in Purple & Blue when she comes to Delhi around Diwali J
This is how the packaging looks like……
Bharat & Dorris Cream Eye Liner
Bharat & Dorris

The color is well pigmented & a lovely tone of emerald green. I plan to wear it traditional outfits :)
Now since the festive season is round the corner so I think this is a perfect buy :)
It’s just the perfect brown I was looking for , nicely pigmented and just one stroke of it is required !
1-      Easy application.
2-      Affordable.
3-      Highly pigmented.
4-      Wide range of colors available.
5-      Waterproof.
6-      Longer staying power.
Well honestly speaking I don’t find any negative aspect about the product except for the fact that currently its available only in Mumbai & Pune. Would like to see their stores in Delhi :)
Would I recommend this product ?
Highly recommended especially if you are looking for wide range in gel/cream liners :)
Would I Repurchase?
Yes Yes Yes !!! I have already my co-sister to get more colors for me :)
Hope the review is useful for you guys :)

Kannu also has her own blog here

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.

Ooooohss And Aaahhss!! 1. Really really stays on forever. 2. Doesn't smudge on my oily lids even after 8 hours of wear. 3. Friendly to the pocket 4. Faces have become quite easily available now. 5. They do not cause any allergies or reactions. 6. They are waterline safe a…

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…
