REVIEW & LOTD: MAC Lustre Lipstick in Touch

They say your first is always special.. Now is it? Your first job? Your fist car? Your first love? Your first diamond? Your first lipstick? Yeah your first is always special and come what may but you do tend to be a tad bit partial towards your first :) ha ha. Today I plan to review my very first MAC lipstick and I promise to be fair and impartial :)
My first MAC lipstick was MAC Touch from the lustre finish range and well it is my favorite till date :) It is my go to lipstick when I am in doubt and well it being a "safe" color does help! :D MAC Touch is a very pretty brownish nude and it is one of those shades that suits almost all skintones :) Just perfect! Also, as it has a lustre finish, it tends to be on the sheer side and looks very watery-glossy which I love :) So much so that it features on temptalia's top 7 must have brown lipsticks from MAC :)
My only gripe is that they don't stay on for long at all :(
The signature choco-vanilla flavor of all MAC lippies btw is just so tempting :)

Ooohhss and Aahhhss!
1. Very versatile color and it suits almost all skin-tones.
2. Lustre finish lipsticks are quite sheer and feel very light on the lips. They are very comfortable to wear.
3. It makes my lips look juicy and glossy.
4. The lipstick has a choco-vanilla flavor, which is signature to MAC lippies
5. Even though the finish is called lustre, it doesn't have any glitter or frost, just a juicy finish :)
6. It's a part of the Back to MAC program :)
7. It's a part of the permanent range
Ouches!
1. It's expensive!
2. It doesn't stay on me for long :( max 1/2 hour!
Price
The cost ranges between 900/- to 990/-
Repurchase?
Oooh yes when it gets over!
Would I recommend it?
Oh yes! This is one shade that you can buy with your eyes closed especially if you like glossy finishes :) Just that they don't stay on for long :(
Overall Rating
9/10

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

Makeup Class: Difference Between A Bronzer, A Highlighter, An Illuminator & A Brightener

Bronzer Vs Highlighter Vs Illuminator Vs Brightener

Very often than not being a beauty blogger I come across the terms Bronzer, Highlighter, Brightener and Illuminator at least a dozen times a day. These terms are everywhere and people use them in their daily conversation with so much confidence that you'd be surprised at how wrong many of them are in their usages. Oh! Yes even I have made mistakes in the past about their connotations and today armed with research, experiments and well just plain analysis I have reached a consensus where I can now confidently put forth the results of my hard work...

Yes, today ladies and gentlemen, I shall be clearing all the confusion that prevails behind Bronzers, Highlighters, Illuminators and Brighteners!

REVIEW: MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In NC42

Review of MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation In Shade NC42

Guest Post By: Rmyah

There are days when I just cannot help look at myself through any reflective surface that I can. Be it mirrors, glass doors, rear view mirrors, the back of a spoon and even a pond. And then there are days when I wished everyone was blind, every mirror shattered, the serene water turbulent, anything to avoid me seeing my face. One such day when my skin was going through a blearrrgh phase I decided to put my face on the web and show you how I deal with it. My savior is the MAC studio fix fluid foundation which has been my HG foundation for about three months now.
