READER QUERY: Wrinkles on the eyelids and under eyes

Heylo girls :) We have have yet again another reader query... It asks...

Please give me some home remedies for my winkles on my lid and underneath eyes. None eye cream worked for me. Sometimes I use almond oil . It is so drippy that it gets inside my eyes .....Is it very harmful ?

Almonds
First of all, using almond oil around your eyes is really good and no even if it enters your eye its not harmful!! :) I myself use Almond oil on my face before I go to sleep at night and it has done wonders for me. My friends tell me that it has helped them reduce dark circles as well... But don't apply it "drippingly"  All you need to do is take some oil on your palm and massage it around the eyes...

Similarly, Olive oil could also be of help to you :)

Honey
Secondly, you could also use HONEY around your eyes. It has very high moisturizing properties. You could mix it with equal quantities of milk and massage around your eyes.

Thirdly, milk-cream i.e. "malai" also have very good moisturizing properties :)

Also, I would like to suggest you to not use soap on your face but use some face wash that suits your skin type. They'll be more gentle on your skin :)
Oriflame Optimals Seeing is Believing Multi Benefit Eye Cream

Otherwise, if you are also looking for eye creams, then you could give the Oriflame Optimals Seeing is Believing Multi Benefit Eye Cream. I have recently started using this myself and it seems pretty good :) I'll be doing a review on it soon as well...

Also, I would like to add that if wrinkled lids are genetic then a complete reversal might not be possible. But then again who knows? :) All the best with these remedies.. Hope they work for you the way they have been helpful to me :)

Cover The Cover: Harper's Bazaar (India) March 2012

You all know that I love tweaking my blog here and there and making some changes, introducing newer features and well sometimes just hooking the blog onto some social networking site :) Well this time I am introducing a new feature that I promise will be really exciting for all beauty enthusiasts :) To start with this feature is called "Cover The Cover" where I shall be covering the cover pages of our favorite beauty and fashion magazines in terms of make-up. There are times when a certain look on a celeb or a fashion mag just gets to us. Well rather than just mulling over such looks I have decided to give life to such looks (on me) and well do a kind of a faux photo shoot ;) What say? Doesn't it sound like fun? What more? You are all invited to submit your looks with a reference to which magazine and edition you are covering and I'll post it here :)

Today's look is inspired by my latest fav mag Harper's Bazaar. The March edition of Harper's Bazaar is a …

REVIEW: Johnson's Baby Lotion on Adult Skin

I am itching to do some makeup EOTDs and LOTDs since a while now but with guests at home I am not getting any time... So for a while you guys are stuck with me doing reviews. Not that my reviews do not need much efforts but as compared to EOTDs and LOTDs, reviews are a little bit less demanding where time constraints are concerned... Don't you agree? :)

Today I shall be reviewing the Johnson's baby lotion and before you raise your eye brows and say to yourself "WTF" let me make it absolutely clear that I bought it when I was out of a moisturiser and needed one pronto! This was the only one available and so I just bought it. I figured if it was good for babies, how could it be bad for me? The truth? Read on ;)

Johnson's Baby Lotion is Clinically proven to be mild and mild it sure is. It has a soft and soothing fragrance, which I love. Once applied it gets absorbed really fast and does not leave a residual oiliness or greasiness. It would be perfect for normal ski…

REVIEW & LOTD: Faces Long Wear Pencil in Navy Blue

While doing the "Meet The Bloggers" feature every Saturday, I have realised (and I am sure that you all have too) that Faces is fast becoming a very popular brand amongst us especially the Faces Long Wear pencils. So much so that a lot of people prefer Faces Long Wear pencils to even Colorbar I-Glides and that ladies and gentlemen is quite a feat for a newly launched brand. So anyways, I got myself a "Navy Blue" from this range and I must say that I am very happy with it. This is my second pencil from Faces after "Turquoise Blue" and well it hasn't failed me either.
This particular shade is a beautiful deep blue that looks stunning on the eye lids.
